RRSL Milestone: First Light on EWU-MRO Link

In early July 2005, Melissa Meyer and Zac Berkowitz created the first working instance of a tristatic passive radar, establishing a coherent link between Eastern Washington University and the Manastash Ridge Observatory.

The data above shows some of the very first cross-ambiguity data to emerge from the system. In particular it shows one strong prominent and several minor cluster paths, as well as an airplane. A zoom of the ground clutter region is shown below.
