Photo of Scott Hauck Scott Hauck has been named the 2009 winner of the College of Engineering's Faculty Innovator: Teaching and Learning award. This award is based on innovative and lasting contributions to engineering education, as well as showing a high-level commitment to students both in and outside of the classroom.

Photo of Maya Gupta Maya Gupta has been named the 2009 winner of the CoE Faculty Innovator: Junior award. Award winners exemplify excellence in research and/or education, show that research results contribute to the expansion of knowledge or improvement of quality of life, and show evidence of making an impact to improve education.

Gloria Heaton has won the College's Staff Innovator: Classified award. This award recognizes her significant impact on the EE department, as well as the way she consistently exceeds expectations on the job. Or, rather in her case we should say "jobs" - since she ably filled in as interim department administrator while still covering all her regular faculty's support needs!

More information can be found on the CoE's award website. We'd like to congratulate our award winners!
