Jonathan Lester awarded 'Best Paper'
Jonathan Lester, who recently finished his Ph.D. under CS Professor (and EE Adjunct Professor) Gaetano Borriello and EE Professor Blake Hannaford, has won the best paper award at the International Conference on Pervasive Computing Technology and Healthcare (Pervasive Health) 2010. The paper, titled "Automatic Classification of Daily Fluid Intake", was written in collaboration with Desney Tan and A.J. Brush from Microsoft Research and with EE Professor Shwetak Patel.
