Patel Receives Georgia Tech GVU Impact Award
EE and CSE professor Shwetak Patel was honored with an "Impact Award" at the 20th anniversary celebration of the Georgia Tech GVU Center (Graphics, Visualization, and Usability). Patel received his BS and PhD degrees from Georgia Tech and was recognized for his research excellence where he "studies everything from low-power sensors to novel interaction techniques."
Winners of the Impact Award "embodies the interdisciplinary mindset and commitment to real-world impact that is a hallmark of GVU's identity."
